Booking Options at Steinbach See Village
Can I book outside the fixed arrival/departure days?

Yes, bookings outside the standard dates are possible for short-notice inquiries – starting 8 weeks before arrival. Just send us a booking request or give us a call. We’ll send you a personalized offer within one business day.

Can I book by phone?

Absolutely! You can reach us by phone at +49 6786 / 29 01 564. We’re happy to answer your questions and give useful tips for your stay. Alternatively, you can book via email or use the booking system on our homepage.

How does payment work?

After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation. A deposit of 30% of the travel cost is due within a few days. The remaining 70% must be paid no later than two months before your arrival. If the time between booking and arrival is less than two months, the full rental amount is due upon confirmation.

What is the cancellation policy?
What’s included in the rental price?

Electricity, water, heating, and firewood are all included. You don’t need to bring bottled water – the kitchen offers a tap with still, medium, and sparkling mineral water.

Can I make a non-binding reservation?

Unfortunately, due to technical reasons and the online booking system, reservations without booking aren’t possible.

Do I need to do anything upon arrival?

Your chalet will be fully cleaned, beds freshly made, and the whirlpool filled and ready. Your relaxation begins the moment you arrive.

Are there enough parking spaces?

Each chalet has its own private parking space with an EV charging station and room for two cars parked in tandem. Additional parking is available on site.

Is there storage for e-bikes?

You can securely park your e-bike at the house using a bike hoop under a 1.5-meter roof overhang. We also offer a covered, locked e-bike shelter with charging stations and a bicycle service point for minor repairs and maintenance.

Are the chalets differently furnished?

All four chalets are furnished and equipped identically, offering the same high comfort and ambiance throughout.

Are dogs allowed?

Well-behaved, house-trained dogs (max. 2 per chalet) are welcome if registered before arrival. The guest is liable for any damage or soiling.

What’s special about staying in a log cabin compared to a regular holiday home?

Staying in a log cabin is truly unique: you’ll live in a house constructed entirely from naturally grown timber logs. The bright, welcoming design creates a cozy feel, and the indoor climate is superb. Though more expensive to build, log homes offer exceptionally high quality of living.

Can the bedrooms be darkened?

Yes, all bedrooms feature blackout curtains for restful sleep.

How do I book a specific chalet?

All chalets are furnished identically. If you arrive on a Friday or Monday, you’ll stay in Chalet 1 or 2. Saturday arrivals stay in Chalet 3 or 4. Tuesday arrivals go to Chalet 3.

How do I book multiple chalets at once?

We recommend booking by phone. We’re happy to assist with group-friendly activities and local catering tips.

Are bachelor/bachelorette parties allowed?

No, unfortunately not. We prioritize peace and relaxation for all our guests.

Is a barrier-free stay possible?

Yes, since one bedroom is on the ground floor and the entrance is step-free, stair climbing isn’t required. Feel free to call us with any questions.
